Share ClickUp delivery status without guest permissions

Export a List or Table view as CSV or Excel — including the custom fields you choose — and publish a clean shared lane for the other team.

What crosses into AlignLane

Default mapping for a ClickUp export. Every field can be excluded before import; unknown or sensitive columns are excluded by default.

What stays internal

  • Time estimates and tracked time
  • Comments, chat and docs
  • Space/Folder hierarchy
  • Custom fields you do not export or map

Excluded columns are not stored. Re-imports match rows by ClickUp ID and update only what changed — see the import docs.

AlignLane vs guest access in ClickUp

GUEST ACCESS IN CLICKUPClickUp paid plans include unlimited free view-only guests; permission-controlled guests can consume paid capacity when no included guest seat is available.Giving comment or edit permissions changes the role and can add billing and permission complexity. Clients still enter the ClickUp hierarchy and task detail.Source ↗ (checked 2026-10-16)
A SHARED LANEUnlimited read-only viewers, only the tasks and fields you publish, and an Overview built around who owns the next move — without the client learning ClickUp.

Questions

Does the other team need ClickUp?
No. Read-only viewers open the AlignLane link. Sign-in is only required for identity or partner actions.
Is this live sync?
No. This is a bulk file import you can re-run. Live source sync is labelled separately when released.
Will re-importing create duplicates?
AlignLane matches source IDs where available and shows an import report. Duplicate-handling behaviour is covered in the import docs.
Why not just invite the client into ClickUp?
Sometimes that is enough. ClickUp paid plans include unlimited free view-only guests; permission-controlled guests can consume paid capacity when no included guest seat is available. Giving comment or edit permissions changes the role and can add billing and permission complexity. Clients still enter the ClickUp hierarchy and task detail.
