What crosses into AlignLane

What stays internal

Excluded columns are not stored. Re-imports match rows by monday.com ID and update only what changed — see the import docs.

AlignLane vs guest access in monday.com

GUEST ACCESS IN MONDAY.COMUnlimited viewers are free on monday.com; guests require Standard or above. Standard bills guests 4:1 after 3 free; Pro and Enterprise allow unlimited guests.Guests work on Shareable Boards, which tends to produce an internal board plus a mirrored client board that both need upkeep.Source ↗ (checked 2026-10-16)
A SHARED LANEUnlimited read-only viewers, only the tasks and fields you publish, and an Overview built around who owns the next move — without the client learning monday.com.

Questions

Does the other team need monday.com?
No. Read-only viewers open the AlignLane link. Sign-in is only required for identity or partner actions.
Is this live sync?
No. This is a bulk file import you can re-run. Live source sync is labelled separately when released.
Will re-importing create duplicates?
AlignLane matches source IDs where available and shows an import report. Duplicate-handling behaviour is covered in the import docs.
Why not just invite the client into monday.com?
Sometimes that is enough. Unlimited viewers are free on monday.com; guests require Standard or above. Standard bills guests 4:1 after 3 free; Pro and Enterprise allow unlimited guests. Guests work on Shareable Boards, which tends to produce an internal board plus a mirrored client board that both need upkeep.
